Walmarts in South Dakota and North Dakota are taking out or really downsizing their fabric departments. ARE YOU CRAZY? There is a demand for fabric and sewing supplies in this area. There is sewing and crafting big time in the Native American Groups and also with the Amish peoples. One of the reasons I have shopped Walmart is to pick up my fabric along with groceries, etc. If I can't get what I need in the Watertown, SD store I have to go to Fargo, ND.in Fargo a new Walmart is built that sucks and everyone goes to the old one. I am hearing Walmart wants to discontinue fabric in that store too. Should the fabric departments go, there will be o reason for some of us to shop there. There are other grocery stores to spend my money at with good buys. As long as I have to travel around to get my fabric I might as well hit up the other stores. I am very disappointed.
