I am a former Comcast customer. I will never use there services again. I terminated my services in October because I was moving to another state. They are now charging me for a modem that never existed.

I returned all of my equipment and payed my final bill in person at the Comcast location and I received my receipt stating that everything was payed for. Then, in November, I received a bill at my new address from Comcast for $30. They were trying to charge me for an "unreturned modem", but the thing is, I used my personal modem from Day 1. Comcast never sent me a modem, but they sure are charging me for one.

I figured, this should be simple. One phone call should resolve this issue. Wrong. I spoke with three different people in the November-December timeframe. Each one acknowledged that Comcast never shipped me a modem - each one told me they would fix the problem and send me my remaining credit.

Remember, I terminated services in October. Wait for it! It's now March and this still isn't resolved! They keep sending me bills! I spoke with yet another Comcast rep today on the phone and here's a synopsis of what she told me:

"A ticket was submitted in December and is still awaiting approval. Sometimes it takes a little longer to approve when the numbers [modem] needs to be verified"

At which point I said, "3 months and it's still awaiting approval?!"

She said, "Yep".

If it took me three months to resolve small issues like this for my customers, I would be out of business, no question. Not only has Comcast lost a customer, they have created a massive amount of ill-will that will spread around like wild-fire for years to come. The thought of Comcast right now triggers only negative thoughts and I will spread those thoughts with a smile on my face.

Comcast owes me roughly $15, should I charge them a late fee for every month they're late? Ok Comcast, you now owe me $60! If you're late, I'll discontinue service and maybe even send you to collections. Ha! That's funny!

Here's what I am asking: Comcast, please send me the money you owe me, stop trying to charge me for something you never gave me and PLEASE, do a better job at making your customers happy.
