Ripoff Ebay Seller took money never sent item refused all contact THIEF

I won an auction this seller held on Ebay October 19. I paid them by check, which cleared my bank 10 days later. Weeks went by and I never received the item I paid for.

I began attempting to contact this seller by email, no response. I then requested their contact info from Ebay which is customary to resolve these types of disputes. Attempted to reach them by phone, no answer.

Then resorted to sending them a letter to the same address I sent payment to, no response. Requested assistance thru Ebay, seller refused contact from Ebay as well.

Got crafty, searched their phone number thru a reverse directory, and found a different address than that on file with Ebay. Sent another letter to the seller advising them of never receiving my item and wanting my money back. No response still.

Have since learned the seller has been suspended from selling on Ebay.

I'm out only $20 which may seem insignificant, it's really not so much about the money now. I don't like paying for something I don't get and I don't want them to do it to anyone else either.
