Ripoff Ebay Seller's fraud

01/06/05 - Won the bid on Ebay
01/07/05 - Sent a personal check via regular mail to seller.
01/13/05 - Check cleared my bank.
01/14/05 - Contacted seller for shipping status.
01/20/05 - Seller responded that she has to check the order status.
01/20/05 - Seller demanded to charge extra fees for processing rebates (which was not included in the selling contract)
01/25/05 - Called seller directly, left message for her to call back. No response from seller.
01/25/05 - Send seller email for not being a truthful seller, would report her to Ebay.
01/25/05 - Seller not happy because I would report her to Ebay. Seller offered a refund check back to me.
01/28/05 - Received a personal check from seller.
02/02/05 - Deposited seller's personal check.
02/11/05 - Seller's personal check bounced plus bank charge for insufficient funds.
02/11/05 - Send email to seller, asking for cashier check.
02/12/05 - Received email from seller. She responded that since I gave her a bad rating on Ebay, she wouldn't send any check back until 2/25/05.
Between 02/12/05 to 02/25/05 - Unable to contact seller via email or via ebay feedback. Filed compalints to Ebay, nothing being solved.
02/27/05 - Checked ebay status again. Seller withdrew from ebay (no longer a registered seller)
03/04/05 - Have not seen any check in the mail.
03/04/05 - Contacted the law enforcement in seller's area and left message.
03/04/05 - Officer in the area called back and would help to solve the problem - to get the money back.
