On December 16 I was charged taxation on Shipping & Handling on order number 291211267.

$339.88

Taxes @ 9.75% should be $23.37. The merchant combined the cost of the items shipping & handling and taxed both. The explanation given was, "some states charge tax on shipping & handling". Contact person: Michelle, emp. #371185. Costco Issue #363423. I have never heard of taxation on shipping & handling. Please advise.
