Unauthorized telephone sales

This company cold calls, gets an unsuspecting staff member to say yes to sending an information package. They then take the yes as a request for their product - which they still have not identified - and send you an invoice.

They are invoicing us for a product we do not have any knowledge of, based on a request for them to send us information on what they are offering. We do not know what they are selling - how can we possibly be billed for it?

The first invoice we received we ignored as we had not agreed to it. Checking the company out online showed us several other small businesses that had been treated the same way. We are not going to pay for a service we don't have knowledge of and did not knowingly agree to.
