Pro forma invoicing / Invoice for product not purchased

I am unsure where to report this, but I wanted to send it to someone

We received an INVOICE via fax the other day. This is not a legitimate company, we have never done business with them, and the only method of contacting them is through e-mail (there is a phone number on the invoice, but it just tells you to send them an email). According to the ship date the product hadnt even shipped yet, and there is no PO number.

We have received fraud invoices from other places in the past, so we are aware of something that isnt real. Our buyer sent them an email saying We did not purchase any shippers from your company. Nice try though!!! And we received a response back from them immediately stating Our sales staff made a mistake with this order. This order was cancelled. Please disregard this invoice. Thanks.

I just wanted to report them to someone, Im sure they are receiving money from people who dont know any better and dont watch their invoices as closely as we do
