AKA REMAX Power Realty Merri Krugen lied and cheated us ripoff

REMAX does not care at all what their independant agents do under the name of REMAX. Their philosphy is: SELL-SELL-SELL!!! Get-the-money and forget about the customer. If cheating and lying is necessary — no problem with that.

Merri Krugen represented her client Betty Sutton and sold a property with a septic tank to us. She never mentioned that one of the previous owners of that property had signed a document that would give the sewer company the right to charge the sewer fees from the owner of the property, despite the fact that the house is not connected to the public sewer system. After we signed the contract we received a bill from the sewer company, they also told us that Betty Sutton was paying her fees every month. The seller and Merri Krugen (who actually owns the lot next to the property we bought) certified that the property was not connected to the public sewer system and that there were no assessments affecting the property. The seller's disclosure statement contained at least 10 questions which the seller knowingly answered wrong in order to mislead us about the fact that the owner of this property has to pay monthly fees to the public sewer company without receiving any services.

We tried to call Mrs. Krugen and she hung up on us. When we tried to call again she checked her caller ID and turned her answering machine on. We left messages which were never responded. After sending emails to REMAX and complaining about her behavior she called and claimed that she was not able to reach her client. She also refused to give us her clients mailing address, knowing that her client committed fraud and trying to protect her from a lawsuit which is probably the only way how to deal with these people.
