Tim wood do not sign a contract with this dj company... Ripoff

I signed a contract with this company in 4 to do my wedding on 10/9. About a month or so after signing I called to cancel the DJ. (Note I gave them a $50 non refundable deposit.) Tim Wood @ Tjandhooch informed me that I owed them for half of the bill even though I cancelled 4 months in advance. I told him that was crazy and it was misleading putting a non-refundable deposit down yet in the very fine print its states if you cancel you are liable for half. He never once mentioned it when we signed he just wanted us to hurry up and sign it. Needless to say I paid him because he threatened to take me to court if I didnt. Also Tim was sure to give me reminder phone calls to ask when he was going to get his money.

This was not fair I gave him ample time to rebook someone else in my slot and he did yet I still had to pay half for nothing. Do not sign a contract with them you will regret it I promise.
