Fraudulent billing ripoff!

Sales rep called me to sell me this directory and I declined multiple times. He them asked me for my name to send out a cancellation notice to my attention. I gave him my name and the call ended. I do not remember getting a second call from this company.

Weeks later a large volume came to our office. I tried to call but was not able to reach a live person.

I them got an invoice for $349. I did not pay it and was contacted by the Accounts receivable. Went through the whole we will call you back with the recording thing.

I faxed them a letter to dispute the charges and received no response. Finally Victoria (ext. 222) called me and played back the "recorded" conversation. The call was from the "Quality Control" department. On the "call" I supposedly gave 1 word answers to all of the pertainent questions including the "Close" of we will send you this for $349. I do not rememebr this call happening, even though I thouroughly remember the sales call.

I was going to send them a check just to make it go away, but I stumbled across this site and have since decided, along with my lawyer to challenge this and not pay it. Thanks to everyone who took the time to post here as you saved me $350 bucks.
