I was attracted by the advertisement of the "FREE" credit report as well. Only I first "joined" a year ago and had forgotten about it until last night when I saw the $79.95 dollar charge on my debit account. When I was first charged for it a year ago, I just figured that I just got screwed and that was the end of it.
When i first "joined" I was told that I couldn't access my account until I had received a letter in the mail with the information that I needed. However, that letter didn't come until after the trial period had ended. After I finally got it I had already been charged the $79.95 and figured that there was nothing I could do about it.
However, last night when I saw the charge AGAIN (I guess they were renewing my subscription) I became rather angry. Who do they think they are luring people in by their ignorance of an inticing "free" offer, then charging them $80!?!?!? All I can say is that I hope that they have to pay BIG TIME for all that they have done.
