Stephen P. Collette Take Peoples Money & Left State... Scam Artist to the MAX!

Like many, many other homeowners, my husband & myself are in a neg am loan due to reset in approximately 4 months. We hired the EQ Group almost 2 years ago. The tell you all the right things you want to hear and that the loan modification process will take NO LONGER than 6 months TOP!

Well, it has been almost 2 years now and all we have is nothing but more headaches minus the $2,500 we paid to the EQ Group. I would call the EQ Group and get the royal runaround and the "owner" would certainly call me back. Well the "owner" never did, but we would get updates from the attorney (once in a blue moon), after I had called & called & called.

EQ Group finally hired an individual that seemed to know what to do for the loan modification process. Well after 6 - 8 more months with this individual, he informed me that our lender was one of the hardest to get a loan modification done with but he assured me that he would continue to work on our file.

At the end of last year, he informed me that the attorney ~ Mr. Stephen P. Collette, had left not only is office in Los Angeles, but he in fact had left the state altogether. The individual that had continually worked on our file was now going to a new company, but said he would try his best to still work on our file.

Well guess what, we yet again, received a "denial" letter from our lender in the mail today. I really don't know where to turn... Our mortgage is going to "adjust" in the mext 4 months and I can honestly say I don't know what to do. We received a letter from another company on "Predatory Lending" and investigating our lender but I honestly cannot trust another "outsource" company again.

If anyone is out there that can recommend a truely "ligitimate" company, I am open to checking them out.
