On September 9 I ordered a magazine subscription for my Grandson from a student going door to door to earn points for her school. When the magazine was not delivered by January 11 I phoned Customer Service and was advised that it takes up to 150 days for the subscription to be delivered. I phoned again on February 15 and was told there were computer issues and they would e-mail the publisher. After several e-mails and calls I decided to stop getting the run around and asked for a refund. On February 19, I sent by Certified Mail a copy of my cancelled check, original pink copy of the receipt and a letter requesting my refund. I phoned Customer Service to request the status of my refund request on March 3 and was told it had not been updated in the system and had to go through Data Processing and to call back in a month. I explained to the girl they only took three days to process my check and asked why it would take so long to get my refund and she told me to be glad my check was not floating around when I submitted it. I phoned back to Customer Service and spoke to yet another person who stated it takes 4-6 weeks for a refund. On April 5, I spoke to Customer Service and was told she would have to talk to her Supervisor and would call me back. On April 6 I phoned back and was told the Supervisor went into labor and to call back next week and they will give this message to the Accounting Department marked high priority and should receive the refund in 10-14 days. As of yet I have not received any correspondence regarding this issue.
