Be careful of fake companies. Check everything you get when you are searching for work. Someone unknowing person could get taken advantage of, or worse.
Ok so I receive an email from an address beginning with 'hr@', which is later changed after I ask for their company website. I am very computer literate, first thing I do to find this company's website is google the name of their business 'Ascension Marketing Group, Inc' because any legit company like the one being described to me will have a website. Right? Wrong. I didn't find anything at all, except other ads just like the one I replied to on craigslist.org, on sites like monster.com and careerbuilders.com.
I get a call the next day from one woman telling me her name is "Kanya" and she is very interested in pitching me a job position with them, throwing things at me like asking me what I wanted to make, would I prefer full-time or part-time.
