Mr. sweep
$800 rip off

I contacted Mr. Sweep and scheduled an appointment to have my chimney swept. I scheduled for 12 noon. They didn't show, nor call. I contacted them again and they showed up at around 6 pm that night.
They said that I had flashing on my rooftop and that they were good at contacting insurance companies to report the damage. I gave them permission. I was told that the insurance company wanted them to take pictures and repair to prevent further damage.
They did a temporary repair and charged me $800. I was told by them that when I scheduled the appointment with my insurance company that they would be there to explain the damages.
I contacted them to let them know the appointed date with my insurance company. The insurance company rep came that Sunday around 8 am. Mark Pellow was supposed to have been there, but wasn't.
I called him to find out why he was't there, but there was no answer, only voice mail. I left a message. He never called back, nor did he show up. I've had several bouts of phone calls which were never returned or returned very late.
They claimed they lost the pictures so I was never able to put in a claim. They also promised to refund my money, by mail and in person, but to no avail. They have no MHIC# and if you have a problem with them, they should be reported to the BBB and the Attorney General's Office.
Mail was sent to them at the Ritchie Hwy address but was returned as undeliverable with no forwarding address.By the way, the address was given to me over the phone by Shaun Nicholson.
