Moss on beaker - Closer To Nature Bottle

After a few days of using tommee tippee beaker, moss spots started to appear all over the mouth bit, which are unable to remove. I just had to discard as I shall surely not give it to my son to drink from!!! I have tried all ways to remove the spots, but all useless.
