It's never your fault!

I asked and paid extra for a red label delivery last Saturday of crucial parts from Depco Pump Co, in Clearwater, FL. The package arrived today. Upon enquiry, we were told that FedEx driver attempted delivery on Saturday but no one was here. Not 4 feet to the left of the office door is the workshop door which was wide open with the company owner and an engineer working just inside. Neither saw or heard a FedEx delivery truck and no attempt was made by the driver to even look inside the open door. This is why, after many years of dealing with FedEx, we now prefer UPS with their friendly sensible drivers. Fed Ex never accepts responsibility for errors, delays, damaged shipments or anything else that goes amiss. Yet, we get calls from FedEx salesmen periodically asking us to switch. Not on your nellie!
