Sales Tax Stolen

This was to be a family owned and operated business when conceived and started. After 4 years of operation we found that the owner was adjusting sales tax in the amounts of $600.00 to $900.00 a week and using that money to pay himself a tax free salary. When confronting the owner about the deceptive practices I was fired. This lead to a walk out of all the other family members working at the store. The owner also put his wife on the payroll (she does not work there) so she could show having paid in to Social Security. The payroll check is deposited back with the store. These and many other observed acts have been reported to the IRS and Texas State Comptrollers office. Beware of spending your money here. The owner uses the same tax funded services he steals money from. And he is our Father! Only wish we had figured him out earlier.
