Business practice lacks customer service. I will never buy again from this ripoff!

I ordered the Lateral Thigh Trainer more than 3 months ago. I chose to make the payments on my credit card in 3 installments.

I received a post card in the mail the second week of July letting me know that the product I was requesting was out of stock and they would be shipping it out within 30 days, if I wanted to cancel I could do that. I phoned to cancel, got the runaround that it was already shipped and I should receive it by July 14, once I get it, refuse the package, and refund could take up to 3 weeks.

I place another call a few days later looking for the package. I was told I would receive it by July 25. July 23 it shows up with broken plastic pieces, rubber rings from someplace, so once again I call back, only this time I have to make 3 initial calls averaging 12 minutes a piece on hold, finally I have enough time to hang on hold to get someone on the 4th attempt.

I speak to another person who tells me to ship it to such and such an address. I was like " I have to pay to ship broken product back?" After a few minutes on hold (NOT ON A TOLL FREE LINE!!!) she returns to say that there will be a letter sent to me to fill out including a label for shipping.

After this long process I have spent many more man hours and long distance fees dealing with the product than it was worth. I paid $119 for a broken headache, now comes the process of returning it and recouping my money.in the short end of it, I recommend waiting for things like this to hit the stores at half the cost. Customer Service Associates are ridiculously unapologetic, stating that they are "just the call center". As the age old marketing numbers go, I will tell 10, who will tell 10 more.
