SWIFT & SMOOTH MOVING CO incompetent, attitude, damaged, rude

Hired a them to move a Steinway upright piano, because they call themselves "piano movers". Made clear to a guy named Victor whose company it is that each location was one flight up, and even told them how many stairs. Day of moving, there were only two guys - Victor, and a friend of his, and they were not piano movers. They moved the piano down the flight - dropping it on every stair.

At the next location, they tried to lift it onto the first stair, they couldn't, and even tried to get me to help them lift it. They destroyed the bottom of the piano in trying to do so. Not wanting to ruin the rest of the piano I found a storage facility near by and had them bring it there. They said I never said the second location was one flight up - a lie.

They then demanded the full payment even though the job was incomplete.

When I hired different movers to move the piano from the storage facility, I discovered the bench was missing. I called the original movers, and it turns out they had it - and never told me.

I asked them to bring it back. They said no. I asked to come pick it up, they said not where they are. Victor said I would have to come to pick up the bench... Where he plays soccer. 10 miles away from me.

We agreed on a date and time, and I went. He was not there. I called and he said I hadn't called him that morning to confirm. - We had agreed on the time the previous night.

We arranged another time. I went. He kept me waiting an hour and a half. Finally arrived. Gave the bench back - in terrible condition.

Stay away.
