18004aphone riped me off from the start. My boyfriend j. Davis called to recieve a phone. They told him to go and pay the deposit and call and give the reciept number and he did. Every thing was fine until there was no communication from that point on. My phone was disconnected on the 20th of the following month.

I called and asked why, and they told me I was supose to know to pay the bill at the first of the month, I asked if they sent out bills or notices and they told me they mailed it. I had to pay another connection fee and wait for three days.

Never recieved a bill until the next month with my following bill. I stayed with them for almost a year, when i moved i called and asked what shall i do about the phone services, they told me to go to Ace and pay a 40.00 deposit and get a reciept, and call back. I called back gave the information.

They told me it would be 2-3 days. I waited 5 called back. They told me i would have to call the sbc and get the person who stayed here before phone disconnected. I did it and call 18004aphone back, and let them know that the line was clear. They told me it would be 5-10 days.

I waited 10 days nothing happen the phone was still not transfered. So i called and subscribed with sbc who was real polite to me and happy to recieve my money and give me service in return. So i called 18004aphone back to get my transfer refund back. This all started May 7th. They promised it was in the mail twice. I never seen it. 1-800-4-a-phone is a joke
