Mystery shopper job scam. Do not cash that check!

I wanted to warn others about a job scam I received in the mail today. They got my info from Jobplanet.com.

They send a legitimate looking letter offering you a job as a mystery shopper. They include a check for $3,975.00 from Mountain America Credit Union. (They are a real credit union in Utah). They send a shoppers report for you to fill out and send to them once your shop is done. You must first cash the check within 48 hours and then call their customer service number to get further instructions. They want you to spend $40.00 of it at walmart, keep $200.00 of it as salary, then deduct a money gram fee and send them back the rest of the money thru a money gram location.
I didn't do it, I'm very leery about these things, so I went online. Sure enough, I found it to be a scam.

This is the second job offer scam I've received from job planet. I'm going to remove my name from them asap.
