Charged my debit card for items never received, $221.15. The order that was placed was cancelled prior to shipment

In May, I filled out the order form for the 30 day free trial, I was not charged shipping on my card even though you had to give your card number to pay for shipping. Order was to be shipped within 10 days but usually on the same day. After about 1 month and no product, I contacted the company. Was told that one of the items were back ordered and would be another 4 - 6 weeks till ship date. I told the rep to cancel my order. Then, today, I checked my bank balance and to my surprise, there were 2 charges from Kronos-Glow, $113.05 and $108.10.

First 3 phone calls, including the hold time to even talk to someone, took all morning. First call, Caller 23, wait time 47 min. After a long frustrating time, First rep put me on hold to transfer me (or so I thought) then disconnected. I call back, caller #27 wait time 62min., spoke to another rep and requested to speak to a supervisor. Told I could not, but I insisted. This time, I wasn't told I would be transfered, the rep just said that the supers didn't talk to customers and if I insisted he would hang up. I did and so did he. Third call, I went to a different department and had them transfer me to a supervisor. He did credit the smaller charge as it was not due to ship til later in the week, but he said that it was my word over the company's that I didn't receive the items, and if I didn't receive the items, why didn't I call to see where the shipment was? As I said befor, I thought I cancelled the order. Long, long discussion with his main defense being that I didn't call to see where the order was. And according to this supervisor, Leonard, he has the authority to make company policy regarding returns and there is no one over him, but I was welcome to company credit.

Additional calls to company resulted in hangups as soon as I give my name and they pull up the account info. Attempts to speak to management without giving your name and they hang up.

To me, they ary trying to FORCE me to be a customer.

Company has really trained their employees to protect the upper management. They will not give names, extension numbers or transfer calls. You have a beef with the company, no problem, call them, they will just hang up on you.
