Refused refund due to complaint about filthy store

Today I entered the Greenville Walmart with the intentions of making a return. I have my original receipt and the unopened item. On the way to customer service, a large roach scattered across the floor. I immediately informed the manager on duty of the insect before proceeding to try to return my item. SHE FLAT OUT REFUSED TO RETURN IT! I have my original receipt and unopened item, and the ONLY reason she denied a refund was due to my complaint in regards to the cockroach. I could not get her to give me a reason as to why she would not allow the refund, she just kept repeating for me to come back another day, that she wasn't serving "someone like me". What exactly did she mean? Someone who wishes to do their shopping without encountering roaches? She may be comfortable working in that environment, but that is NOT okay for me to shop around. After being home for an hour, I decided to call the store to try to get this woman to be reasonable. When she realized it was me on the phone, she shouted "I told you to take your holier than thou attitude elsewhere!". This woman deserves to be fired for making up her own return policy on the spot due to someone disagreeing with the store's filth. This is not acceptable nor healthy!
