Ripoff, FRAUDULANT BILLING I have to correspond with the MCI research people via a message and a bottle. Geez I hope the current carries my messagein the right direction

I finally took a closer look at my phone bill and noticed I was paying MCI and AT & T. MCI was a separate bill, while AT& T was on my local phone bill.

When I asked my local provider (SBC in Cleveland, Ohio) about this he explained to me that his records showed that I switched from MCI to AT&T on August 6. Records show that I began with AT&T on August 7.

Why then am I STILL receiving bills and paying bills to MCI? I paid them over $100.00 when I didn't' t have to. It is partially my fault for not paying better attention but I can see from the amount of complaints lodged against them that I am not alone in my lack of good judgment and prudent bill watching.

I am under the impression that the most recent payments are in the process of being refunded. However, I had to Xerox the older bills and mail them to Iowa City, Iowa for them to review. I am awaiting a letter back from them.

I called MCI to see if the letter was received and was told it would take up to two weeks for them to reply. They also said "there is no phone number for the Iowa City address". I find that amazing. A building with no phones in the year 2003. I guess I have to correspond with the MCI research people via a message and a bottle. Geez I hope the current carries my message in the right direction.

I can see that they have been practicing fraudulent and deceptive business tactics for quite some time.

Count me in if a law suit presents itself.

I hope to see some money refunded but after viewing all of these complaints my hopes are not too high.
