Citi-Spaces agreed to rescind our lease but will not return our 1st, Last & Deposit to us

My experience with Citi-Spaces nearly left my family homeless. They have kept 1st, last and security money on a apartment that we did take. We are taking legal action against them. Clarence Johnson, Andrew Green and Isreal Horowitz are all to blame for this situation.

Clarence Johnson negotiated a lease for us at the 305 Lofts in Brooklyn in early March. All paperwork was filed and deposits given. 2 weeks go by and, after many many phone calls, no word on a exact move in date or a sign returned lease. We were assured that we would still be getting the apartment it just wasn't legal yet.

Another week goes by and we decide that we could not wait to see if this situation was going to work out. We asked for to rescind the lease. They assure us that we will have a place to live "so please hang tight". Then the story changed. The apartments were "maybe" going to be ready but there was some "banking problems". We could move our stuff in and they would work out a "possible reimbursement for a hotel and prorate the rent". Andrew Green then tells us it will be ok and we should move in without a lease. At this point we decided to rescind the lease. It was accepted by the owners and our money from them returned. Citi-Spaces will not return their portion of the money and we are now taking legal action.

I read another review on this site an passed it off as a jilted ex-employee. I assure you that this woman was not exaggerating. Isreal Horowitz is dishonest and it would serve you well not to use this service.
