Sleazy sales tactics

I came across what I believed was the gown & veil of my desires in the Sun Hills area in St. Louis last Friday. I place the gown, clothing carrier, veil & blusher on layaway and pay a deposit of $200 (whole was about $750 using the dress and veils). The gown was really stunning and also the veil was petite having a little fringe of very drops really gentle and easy. I had been type of amazed that it had been $179, however the advisor explained that's just how much they operate on average. And so I returned on Sunday to test the gown on-again with headpieces (tiaras and headbands) and also to get my Maid of Honor's viewpoint. Our advisor I would like to try-on the headpieces using the gown however in another dimension because the one I purchased was on layaway. I believed which was peculiar since I'd previously set cash towards it... But whatever... She also presented an example of the veil I'd in layaway. I had been really confused in the beginning to determine that it had been different veil whilst the one I'd attempted on last period! It had been this large factor with gaudy beans and unattractive lace! I expected her if it was exactly the same veil from Friday... She double-checked and stated that it had been certainly exactly the same on that I'd on layaway. Used to donot create a fascination then but I had been 99% sure IT HAD BEEN different veil. IT WASN'T MY STYLE AT-ALL!!! Given that they were really hectic on Sunday and my advisor was dealing with about 3 additional clients, I simply quit and went home. I compared images from Friday using the types we required that evening and that I established IT HAD BEEN DIFFERENT VEIL! Therefore essentially I'd purchased something which used to donot try-on. I really could not think they'd completed that in my experience! And so I decided I'd return Wednesday evening (Mon was a vacation) and consider that veil from Layaway. I thought I'dnot result in a picture and that I was simply attempting to provide the advisor the advantage of the question thinking perhaps she combined the veils up. After I came I talked having a woman called Tammy who had been skilled but didn't appear to wish to assist me. I had been wishing to consider the veil off layaway and simply place that cash towards my gown. She explained that I really could not do this. She stated I'd to pay for anything off first after which I really could trade the veil for another thing of equivalent or REDUCED worth. Therefore easily could not find anything worth $179 (price of the veil) then I'd ostensibly SHED money. Today why could I do want to spend towards anything used to donot need within the first-place?!?! Or maybe more so something which I never actually ATTEMPTED ON!!?! Next she explained when I stop the layaway I really could just stop the whole purchase not only a part of it. And so I did. I ended the gown and anything. To top it off she attempted to inform me that I'd lose the 25% I'd pay. I'd to indicate the layaway plan OBVIOUSLY SAYS that cancellations with-in 10 times entitle the customer to some COMPLETE refund. THANK HEAVENS I'd browse the plan! It is a disgrace they lost company over an easy issue. We were thinking about outfitting our whole bridal party (12 people) as well as the mother-of the woman & mother-of the groom through Mark's Bridal. We were also likely to opt for them for the announcements and party favors. To evaluate this: They dropped about $6000 over a of $179. What wonderful business feeling they've! I had been wishing to deliver a contact to corporate but there's merely a mailing address on the website and that I will soon be delivering a notice but I doubt anybody may examine it. I'd not suggest Brian's Bridal to anybody.
