False advertising - Total Ripoff I've Got Their Reciver & Will Not Return Until I Recieve My Deposit

When I first subscribed to DirecTv, I had the full package they offered, and it was less than eighty dollars a month. After roughly three or four months passed, when I noticed my package was reduced to basic packagae. I called and question, and they stated it was only a promotional event at the time, and now if I wanted the full packagae back, I would have to pay an extra hundred dollars a month. I declined, and asked for my deposit back, after going with the basic package for almost a year for eighty dollars a month. I was very unhappy, and disconnected the service, I asked for my deposit, and they wanted me to send receiver back. I explained to them, until I see my deposit or my account credited that $200.00 first, they would not be getting their reciever back.

As it stands now, Iam holding their receiver. I will not use their service again, due to the false advertising, I would prefer to have my traidtionalBIG DISH satellite back.

So, do not purchase Directv, hopefully with the ability to watch streaming video on the internet, DirecTv, and some of these Rip companies like DirecTV, will fade off into the sunset.
