Over charged and then some

Slomins makes alot of promises, but when they fail, they blame them on "Communication Errors" They are over charging me $. 40/gal on oil. I paid $2.89/9 per gal for home heating oil on Jan. 20. My neighbor paid $2.49. I have a contract for service which I paid for. They do not keep appointments, which means I lose time from work when they don show up and blame an "error on communication". Then when they service my oil burner, they tell me I need a thermastat.

When they finally show up a week later, they say its the wrong part and then when they come back they say that the unit is not repairable but needs to be replaced at my cost of $2100.00. Am I sorry, but that was Slomins on the telephone now asking me to reconsider cancelling there oil deliveries and service. However they will not offer me anything except an apology. They made there money and now want me to continue to accept poor service and over charges for oil delivery. That's nerve for you. The public is not blind and does not want to be lead around like cattle.

I hope enough people will read this letter and cancel there services with Slomins Inc. I have already been contacted by other oil companies willing to help me in my financial situation and have been given better prices on every detail. I have gone on the WWW and have noticed that I am not alone, that there are many of us who will not stand by and let companies dictate to us, we have choices, this is still the USA and people count.
