I had been interested in getting on board with an oil compaany to mainly get a budget plan so the bills would be spread out over the course of one year. I was recommended to Slomins by a Slomins employee you I had meet in Panera bread. After many questions he gave me a number of a local salesman to contact and I did. When the salesman arrived I again told him that it was important to me to be on a budget and spread out the payments over the course of one year. He said no problem but the first 2 deleveries would not be on a budget plan because they have to get an idea of how much oil I would use during the course of the year but after that I would be on a plan. I said to him okay. When I received my first bill the first 2 deliveries where there as he had said. However immediatly following days later I recieved anothe bill for a third delivery and the bill due was now for 3 deliveries. I called Slomins and the rep and told her that I signed a contract and after my first 2 deleveries I was supposed to be put on a budget plan. Her response was your contract does not start until June and then you will be put on a budget plan. Keep in mind I signed my paperwork in early January. When I also told her what my salesman had stated that Slomins would get an idea of my usage according to the first 2 deleveries she responded we know what your usage will be and we dont do need to do that. She then told me I will be charges $ 599. If I cancel my contract. This is probably the only thing my salesman told me that was correct. I have called the company many times to try to resolve this issue but with no success. I have complained to them about my salesman all they tell me is that we will bring to there attention What good that has done I have no idea.

I have also tried to reach my salesman many times to discuss this with him but he has not returned my calls in over a month.

I also had issues with my alarm monitoring with Slomins but fortunatly was able to cancel with no problems. My issues with both oil and alarm are not an isolated case, like many others I have been a victim of a shakedown and something needs to be done to prevent this from continually happening. Oil is exspensive enough without being ripped off by a company.
