Your account is not closed despite your signed contract

Since I have two business with this company, I am writing two complaints.

My contract expired July 22nd 2008. Two phone calls and a fax from Transtech confirming it was closed still didn't get my account closed. To delay closing my account after July 22nd they sent me a "Signature Discrepeancy form". That apparently gave them the right to "extend my account for one (1) more year. Thus, closing my account after july 22nd I risked closing my account during an active period. There is a $300 fee to close early. They have filed reports to all three credit firms (equifax, transunion, experian). I am contacting Texas Attorney General
