Ripoff abused & mistreated the business that doesnt give a dam

I notified Option One in writing of a temporary financial hardship I am experiencing at the moment. I am late on my mortgage, and I wanted to explain the situation and make payment arrangements. They ignored my letter and called me at home and work. They even left a scare-tactic message on my answering machine at home stating "This is a test for a Foreclosure Message."

When I called, the rep I spoke to did not want to hear what I had to say. She said I was not telling the truth and I was avoiding paying my mortgage. She claimed I had been late 10 times on my payments which is untrue. She said Option One is "sick of carrying" me as a customer, that I did not make enough money, and they had decided to foreclose on me. She did not believe my medical hardship (I have Parkinson's Disease; diabetes). She wanted to know all my expenses in detail. I was told I should have my car repo'd because I didn't need it (I work full-time and commute 102 miles per day in my car, so I need it.) I was told to take the bus. I was told I did not need electricity in the house, so I should not pay the bill. I was also told I didn't need to buy my medication.

According to the HUD website, mortgage companies can work with you during temporary financial crises. Not Option One. The HUD website said that mortgage companies really do not want to foreclose because of the expenses involves. Not Option One.

Avoid this company. They are impossible to do business with. They are rude and nasty. When I get on my feet, and I will, I am refinancing with another company!
