Fraudalent Magazine Company Scams Teen 119 W Torrance Blvd

Shops, Products, Services

This Company Had Called My House Saying "Congratualations you have been selected for a chance to win $25,000 sweepstakes". It Was a Female Marketer On The Phone at That Time. They Also Said I Would Get a Watch Of Some Sort. She Also Asked How Old I Was and I Said 18.

The Marketer Was Talking So Fast I Had No Idea What I Was Saying Yes To. This Company Wanted My Credit Card Information, Asking If I Had Master Card or a Visa Card. I Told The Marketer I Had a Visa Card, She Then Proceeded Asking Me For My Card Number. She Told Me It Was Declined.

The Marketer Said They Would Send me a Letter In The Mail That I Had To Fill Out and Send Back In Order To Get My Watch, Sign Up For The Sweepstakes. And something about magazines. The Marketer Asked Me What Kind Of Magazines I Liked and I Told Her 3 of My Favorites. Next Thing I KNow I Am Talking To Some Robotic Machine Telling Me What To Say.

Fast Forward I Got The Letter and It Said I Had To Send Money Or Something To Recieve Magazines. I Did Not Bother Responding To The Letter.
Next Thing I Know I Being Sent Magazines I Did Not Order. To Add Insult To Injury They Started Sending 2 of Each magazines and Magazines I Have Never Heard of Before.

They Started Sending Bill Letters To My Home and My Jaw Dropped at The Numbers I Seen On The Bill. Now They Called My Home and Threatened Me To Pay Or They Will Send It To a Collections Agency. I Just Recently Turned 19 Years Old and Having Been Lied On Alot It Just Does Not Compare To This Kind Of Fraudalent Activity. They Won't Cancel The Subscription. I cannot Cancel It Becuase They Will Charge a Scary Fee If I Do. I Do Not Have a Job, and Have Never Had One.
