National Magazine Exchange
Began to send me FIVE different magazines I did not sign up for and charge me for it!

It began with a letter in the mail stating I was entered into the National Magazine Exchange Sweepstakes. I called the number given and I was told to give the sweepstakes number located on the letter. I was told no purchase was necessary to enter into the sweepstakes. They started on an offer about magazines and proceeded let me choose three. I chose to extend my subscription to Glamour and Cosmopolitan for a year as well as subscribe to Redbook for two years. I gave them my credit card number with which to charge.

Within the next month nothing came in the mail. Last month, however, I started to receive Redbook as well as SEVEN other magazines I did not subscribe to in the mail. I received two of each one. They were Interview, Blender, Inc, Working Mother, Automobile, Weight Watchers, and Hallmark. Luckily, my credit card was only charged $29.00 for the first time fee due to the fact I had closed my account. I had then received a notice in the mail from National Exchange magazine stating they were not able to charge to my credit card.

Now, they are demanding payment for the seven magazines i've been receiving in the mail!!! They are threatening to report to the nationwide collection agency and I have no other choice but to pay them or have my credit ruined over some ridiculous fraud!!! This is one of the worst mistakes I have made in trusting a company. All I wanted was a simple extension and subscription to three magazines and now I have magazines galore!!!

I cannot believe this company is getting away with charging people for magazines they did not even order! This is wrong and downright dirty! This company needs to pay for what it has put us through!!!
