Tries to force you to keep their service, by adding charges to your bill

I would never use Direct Tv for my service because they will rip you off!

I turned my service off 10 days before the bill was due, then they sent me a bill for &170.00 saying I owed them for so many months left on a contract, I Never had a contract with these people, I had service with these people for over 8 years, never was late with a bill and never heard of a contract!

When they found out I had gotten another company for service, they were very angry and said if I would come back to them, they would do away with the $170.00 bill that I never owed in the first place! During this time, right before I unhooked the service, they tried to charge me for 1/2 a months service for 10 Minutes worth of service, 10minutes! (moving from one no program package to another no program package within 10 minutes over the phone). These peole would not leave me alone to sign up for this service in the first place, then they tried to trick money from me!
