The Right One Lully's Inc
Horrible to employees and do hard pressure sales

Shops, Products, Services

The Right One or Lully's Inc. Has the highest turnover rate of any company I've ever worked for, and I've been in sales for 10 years. I only worked there for 1 month, but was released when I went out of town for a death in my family. They can't keep employees, let alone keep the members happy. I'm kicking myself now because I actually Googled this company to find multiple reports from prior employees.

FOR ANY POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE:
I would call on my leads list that sometimes called prospects that were over a year old, that were still in our database. While half the prospects I called were in a relationship or even married since they recycled these old prospects. This was because Ted Law, the owner, had tweaked the dialer to give the managers the newest leads, and give other sales associates (really telemarketers even though they say we weren't) the old leads. I even called Ted out on this when I realized the lists weren't legit, and he finally admitted that he told a manager to do it months ago. He made it sound like he didn't know the manager, Brian, was still doing it. Also, when you are interviewed, they tell you that most people will come in and pay in full for a membership. This is NOT TRUE. All of my clients that joined financed their membership, so I was never paid on it since it takes up to 5 weeks to get the financing commissions added to your check. Also, when you are hired, you will sign a company policy that states any owed compensation if you are fired or if you don't put in your 2 weeks, you will receive minimum wage, and forfeit your owed commissions. There is no 3 week check processing time, they do this so that when you receive your last 3 checks, you will get about $260 a week. I am filing against them with the Texas Workforce Commission regarding the legality for this.

FOR ANY POTENTIAL MEMBER:
Sometimes the database would call prospects that were already members. For me only being there for 4 weeks, I probably spoke with 7 members during this time. NONE of them had anything positive to say, and said that THE RIGHT ONE was a waste of money. The managers all stated we are a service industry and not everyone will be happy. When you talk to 7 members and NONE of them have anything positive to say, obviously, there is something the company isn't doing correctly. Also, when you come in for your free 90 minute presentation, you will have to deal with extreme pressure sales. (They have a 93% close rate for anyone that comes in if that isn't scary!) You will not get any pricing over the phone, but most packages start at $3995, but sometimes they let the less incomes receive packages at $1500.
