Merchant Account Blocked Hours After Upgrade as Linked to Other Account

I have now found other people that have been blocked out of their amazon accounts.

My story is as follows... I have been selling on ebay for over 9 years and have a 99.9% positive feedback rating. Deciding to take the business to the next level I signed up with amazon.com and started with an individual account. I have made a total of 16 sales in the last 30 days - 8 of then in one day. I decided that it was time to upgrade my account.

Within hours of upgrading my account, it was blocked because they claim - my account is linked to another blocked account.

This is impossible as I only have one account.

I have sent numerous emails and have gotten only a generic response. They have no number to call and have basically told me any more emails from me will be ignored.

Here's the email... Anyone have any ideas?

We regret we are unable to provide further information on this situation. Further correspondence regarding the closure of your selling account will not be answered.

The closure of this account is a permanent action. Any subsequent accounts that are opened will be closed as well.
