Very Poor Customer Service

In August of this year, my checkbook was lost or stolen. I called the bank, and reported it, but accidentally included Sears check I wrote that day. I IMMEDIATELY called Sears, and my bank, and they said they check should be sent through and it would clear. It did not! So, we called the bank again, and they assured us it would clear, and we told Sears, but they did not send it through.

If you need to call Sears be prepared. The phone rang about 15 times, and then I got a busy signal, I tried and tried, and finally had to just get a department and ask to be collected to loss prevention.

I had been assured&In August— by the store manager of Sears he would send the check through again. Well, Wednesday, I wrote a check to Target, and it wasn't accepted. I was puzzled. After all this time! I have no trouble writing checks to Wal-Mart or other places. I think it's probably time to consult an attorney.

Friday, I received a letter from Certegy. Now, remember, this check to Sears was written August. 8th, and I am just now getting this!!! I am so upset I could scream! You can be sure I will never spend another penny at a Sears store.

I used to like Sears, but no longer. They should realize that their jobs aren't all that secure in this economy, and losing customers could cause Sears to go belly up. It would be thier own fault.

After having read all the complaints about Certegy here, I am having to wait until Monday, and dreading it very much, since they seem—by the posters acccounts here, to be as bad—if not worse than Sears.

Wish me luck, and you ALL have my sympathy for all the grief these companies have caused you.
