Banfield overcharges for services by scammig customers

I have benn a Banfield customer for over 4 years. I went in to have my dog checked for her annual exam, and they reccommended a teeth cleaning. When i made the appointment, they said i could upgrade my wellness plan for $60 and the cleaning would be covered. When it came time to pick up my dog, they changed their story. They said the doctor was no longer upgrading plans, and the fee would be $180. I asked the front desk associate to ask the vet (who they said was also the owner) to make an exception and he said no. He wouldn't even come out to speak to me in person. I even wrote a letter to their corporate address and got no response, not even a generic letter. They obviously only care about making money and not making life-long customers and happy pets. I will no longer shop at Petsmart or go to Banfield. Another rip-off is that they will still charge you a monthly fee for the rest of the year if you cancel! Shop at Petco and check out VPI pet insurance, a much better investment and you can pick your own vet of choice.
