Craigslist.com
Fake job listings, scam for personal info Columbus

Shops, Products, Services

I've been searching for work through Craigslist.com's employment listings and was shocked to find that there are very few real jobs listed. More recently I've noticed, on a daily basis, that there are more listings warning other employment seekers about scams trying to get your personal info.

Additionally, there has even been some employment listings with what appears to be actual companies and websites but when you try to look the company up in the local phone book or online the company doesn't exist in the area but in a completely different state. There's a lot of people really looking for work and they are being preyed upon by these people. Something has to be done to protect those who are trying to survive.
