Broker / Owner - Predator Agents who are driving down the values of the market for a quick buck

On or about May 6th I entered into an agreement with his agent Steve Hardcastle to sell my home. With lots of empty promises, about marketing open houses etc. I contacted his broker about my problems with Mr. Hardcastle not following up with realtors who showed my home and not calling people back. The one offer I had on my home his agent's assistant Wendy who is very incomptent and could not negoiate the transaction - I've been in the mortgage business for over 15 years - They are most unprofessional group in the market. This is a very hard market to sell a home - you need agressive realtors - Mr. Pollack does not care.

All they want at Remax Westside is the 3% do nothing listing agents - they are parasites and are driving the values in my neighborhood down. I live in the Lakes of Eldridge and have probably lost potential buyers - this has caused me not only financial harm but also mental anguish. Today I get a call from a realtor from another firm stating that my listing had expired - I was never contacted about this -

I contacted Mr. Pollack about this - he could have cared less - Several neighbors have signed up with them because they used me as reference. When I informed Mr. Pollack that it was unprofessional not to contact me - I was gone all weekend to a boy scout camp out - he stated that he would check into - also, I told him that I was going to inform all of my neighbors that had been hoodwinked by Mr. Hardcastles' slick pitch - he threaten to sue me.

He did not care that my keys to my house were put into the US mail - which is very dangerous and I could be robbed - the least they could have done is dropped them off. - I have a small child who lives in my home with me - and this is very scary to have keys floating in the postal world.

It is imperative as a homeowner that we keep each other infomed about realtors who want to do nothing but to collect their 3% listing commission and scare us in to believing that we can't get anymore because of the market - they are driving down our values. Do not use them
