I got a bill from Direct Energy out of the blue since i do not or have ever signed up for their service. The best part is i live in the country and have a propane furnace which they do not service. I received a bill for a furnace protection plan. I called them and they informed me that they took fraud very seriously and would inquire to find out which one of their sales people were responsible. I guess they could not find out. Anyways, i was informed they were going to cancel the bill, only to get another one for double the amount of the first bill for a total of $178. It turns out they never canceled the first bill either after informing me they were going to. I have now been told again they were canceling the entire bill tonight but i will believe it when i see it. DIRECT ENERGY is a fraudulent company and should not even be allowed to operate as it seems they are like vultures or scavengers on the side of the road praying on people. Company is full of AXXES!
