Wrongful termination

To Whom it May Concern:

I just wanted to know that today I got fired for wrongful termination without a warning, written or verbal notice.

The reason they gave me the reason by leaving the bullet proof glass open after 9pm. I have worked for the company for two months and the only way I knew it was wrong because myself and other employee got into a disagreement over the window and on October 15th we had a company meeting and it was plainly stated that the window needed to be closed by 9pm. I had a discussion about it with the management and advised that between the hours of 10pm and 12am its our busiest hours and its quicker to keep the window open to get the customers in and out without delay. He then told me that sorry its company policy. There isnt a lock on it. As well as I am friends with the Kankakee Police and they are in there at all times for Protection. I realized that it was a no win situation so I started closing the window anyway to forsake an arguement.

Today I recieved a voicemail stating that I was terminated. I called the manager on his personal cell phone and told him he stated that he was unaware of the situation. So I called the Corporate Office and they gave me the District Manager as well as the H/R department Manager.

I have been making phone calls all day and I am not getting any response.

Another thing is that the other workers have about 5 drive offs a day. I don't have any. I keep the gas station perfect when I work and never have drive offs. If another worker has a drive off I usually help collect on the money. I watch the parking lot the whole time that I am working I have save about 10 drive off in about a week. Also had customers come in and tell me what a great job I was doing.

I guess I don't want my job back I just would like an apology for the wrongful termination. Plus its going to cost Speedway alot of money.
