Westgate Lakes
Terrible experience

We purchased a biannual 3br timeshare in 2002 at Westgate Lakes for 11K at one of their sales pitches. Tried to sell it after a couple times of use& trust us& there's no resale market! The units are nice but not worth having to pay 850 each time we want to use it; they charge $130 to use a banked week & and good luck trying to schedule it when you want it. You can usually find a WGL owner trying to sell his week on Ebay for 500-800 / week & that's the way to go! WGL ended up buying the unit back for $1000 after we listed it up on ebay... (if you find a buyer... WGL has right of first refusal and they will buy back if is in the low range of the scale - and they just mark it back up and sell it to the next fool!
