HighPoint Remodling Doesn' Pay it's contractros, Liens placed on Consumers homes!

High Point Remodling also known as High Point Builders, and High Poitn Enviornmental were hired to do a demolish and rebuild on our attached garage due to a previous sinking issue (hense the reason they were hired?)

After many months of poor communication, lack of any customer service, and High Point attempting to make us pay outside the contract terms. They finally finished in May.

September 30 a Lien was placed on our property by one of HighPoint's hired subcontractors. After months of this contractor trying to get paid by High Point, they did not receive returned calls and registered letters were returned to the contractor. Basically High Point Remodling, LLC failed to pay it's own contractors, thus a lien was placed on our home and property.

This contract was NOT listed as a contractor for our project. During our project I insisted in Lien-Waivers from all of the contracts including High Point themselves before final payment was received.

Needless to say, they witheld that information too.

I warn anyone looking to do work with High Point Remodling, High Point Builders or thier subsidary High Point Environmental to NOT DO IT! You may get stuck with Liens and Bills long after you paid them in full.
