Wrongful Termination

My husband was told over the phone he was fired, and no need to come in because Charlie fired him. He had not been written up and there is no paper work or business procedures done correctly in his terimnation. Not sure why Charlie did not want Jon working for them, when he was always told he was the best worker there. Actions are being taking for unemployment and if further actions need to be taken on wrongful termination, it may have to be looked into.
