Award Realty and its owner, manager, and staff are all LIARS, DECEITFUL, HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Stay away from them - they are TROUBLE!

I have had the worst experience with Award Realty. It has been a nighmare for me. I used a Property Manager (CD) for several years and she did not protect my property nor did she work in my interest. When I finally saw my properties, they were a wreck! She allowed a previous tenant to go on my property without my knowledge or approval. She sides with the tenants and not me (the owner and her client). She released the security deposit without my approval to have repairs done. I paid her for her services. All she did was collect her share and nothing more!

She lied consistently to me. She made me wait months for rental income pretending that checks had been stolen from her office to justify the reason for not collecting late fees from the tenant. She made up false invoices, receipts and letters. She had no walk-through inspection checklists. There were no fire/smoke detectors in one of the condos... The list goes on and on. These are all legalities that she neglected her duty to provide to me.

When I complained to the office manager (EM) and the broker/owner (JM) they made me out to be a complainer and bothersome to them. I never got to speak to the owner (he was always conveniently away from his office when I called him numerous times). I emailed him several long letters to make him aware of how my properties were being neglected and how my property manager was handling my affairs. He never answered one of them except one time to tell me that I was annoying and to take my busness elsewhere! He even rejected one of my e-mails. How childish is that??? The office manager (EM) sides with her staff - she makes up lies to support them. She lies and hangs-up on you when you try to speak with her!
It is impossible to reason with these people. I reported them to the Realtors Association (who will probably do nothing to them at all)! A simple fine will not resolve my issues and concerns with them - in fact, a fine is probably a nice tax write-off for them! Award Realty and those who I mentioned consistently lie, they are deceitful, they make their clients out to be complainers, annoying and nothing but bothersome to them. They never, ever, respond to your concerns nor do they ever address your issues with them. They only respond when it is in their own interest, and even then, they will make you out to be the "bad guy."
They conveniently closed my accounts and claim that they no longer have any obligation to me. I still have unresolved issues with them that they have totally dismissed. There is nothing left for me to do but to make the public aware of how Award Realty conducts business with their clients. They are liars and extremely unprofessional. Award Realty should not be allowed to deal with the public. They should not have the privilege to be in business at all!!
