Making their mistakes even worse!

I was referred to proflowers.com by a friend who had a good experience with them. I thought that the concept sounded a little sketchy, as the flowers you send were loose in a box, and the recipient had to assemble the bouquet. However, I gave it a try for a valentines present. My wife was DISGUSTED to receive flowers that were literally CAKED in MUD and sand! I will say that the flowers were fresh, but they made a huge mess in our house when we were putting them together, and I wasn't expecting for my wife to have to scrub them in order to enjoy them.

I sent a letter of complaint to proflowers, and they apologized profusely, stating that this usually does not happen, and they would send a bouquet of my choice (of the same price or less) whenever I wanted it. I decided to go ahead and cash in on this for my wife's birthday, and contacted customer service. I was happy to find that they had this in their records, and asked specific questions to fill my order. I sent them the exact information, including the bouquet name. When the bouquet arrived, it was in better shape than the first one, but it was the WRONG bouquet.

I notified proflowers and they said that they would be happy to give me a 20% discount on my next order. WHAT next order? WHAT kind of offer is that anyway when I can get that good of a deal or better through the frequent emails they send me or on-line coupons? I am extremely disappointed with this company. While their customer service seems responsive, it is not necessarily in the way that you would hope. All I have to say is, "BUYER BEWARE".
