Washer Will Not Spin, Replacement Refused After Delivery

I bought a Maytag Epic washing machine, model # MFW9800TQ, at Home Depot. It was delivered July 23 and was installed by the delivery man. When it was operated, a small amount of water comes out and it flushes on the screen sensor F 11, and it will not spin at all. Meaning to say, it is not working. I called Home Depot customer service, Home Depot Care One, and the Home Depot store, with one answer: deal with or call the Maytag company, which I did.

The Maytag company sent the A&E technician 12 days after the delivery. I called Maytag beforehand to expedite sending the technician, informing them that there is water inside the machine that is causing the machine to rust, but to no avail. They said it was fully booked until July 12. The technician found and reported a communication problem with the ccu / mcu board, meaning there is not only one defect but two defects, which I would have to deal with from time to time. What if the warranty expires? It will drain your pocket to repair and maintain it.

Home Depot and Maytag Co. refused to let me return it or have it replaced with a new one. They insisted on their offer, which was to repair the washing machine that I had just bought and never used.

Where is my right as a consumer? It is like I am buying a second-hand machine at the same expensive price, one that you cannot use. I refused to cooperate with them to repair the machine because I feel I am cheated by these two companies. It was a frustrating, humiliating and unfair experience to shop at Home Depot and get a damaged product that you cannot return or replace. Rip-off to you, Home Depot and Maytag. Never, never, never again will I shop at your store!

To the consumer: be careful shopping at Home Depot with their promotions, because they really do not work.
