Energy Efficient Washer Does Not Clean Clothes, No Exchange

I purchased a Maytag washer from Home Depot. It is an energy efficient type of product. After having it delivered, I tried everything I can think of to make this machine operate properly. It simply does not wash the clothes clean. I have used the same type of clothes on every cycle, using different types of laundry detergent, and nothing works. I have tried different water temperatures also.

After working with this problem to make sure it was not operator error, I finally called for a service man. He came and checked all the components in the machine and said they are working correctly.

I called Maytag and explained what I had done over these months to get a proper cycle, with no success. They basically told me too bad. They will not take it back, and they will not exchange it for another machine.
